# Troubleshooting & FAQ's

> Quick solutions to the most common issues merchants face while setting up or running BundleSuite.

## Troubleshooting

***

#### ⚠️ **1. My bundle is not showing up on the storefront.**

**Checklist to verify:**

* ✅ The bundle product is published to the **Online Store sales channel**.
* ✅ App Embed or App Block has been properly added to the relevant template.
* ✅ Bundle status is **Active** (not Draft or Archived).
* ✅ For BYOB: Make sure the correct **Section Class** is used (or left blank to inject into the main section).

If all are set and it still doesn’t appear, reach out to support with your theme name and bundle link.

***

#### 🔧 **2. App Block is not appearing even after adding it.**

* Some older themes or custom-coded ones may **not support App Blocks**.
* Try using a **default Shopify 2.0 theme** to confirm.
* Make sure the block is placed in the **right section** (e.g., product template, not cart or blog).

> If needed, contact our team — we’ll help place it manually or advise on the correct layout.

***

#### 🔁 **3. Bundle not updating after I made changes.**

After updating a bundle’s products, images, or settings:

* Always **Save the changes** inside BundleSuite.
* Check that the bundle product is still **Published** to the Online Store.
* Refresh your store and clear browser cache if needed.

For changes to appear on a live store, you might also need to **re-preview** or re-publish the bundle.

***

#### 📦 **4. Product in bundle shows as out of stock.**

* In **Standard Combo**: If *any* included product is out of stock, the entire bundle becomes unavailable.
* In **BYOB**: Out-of-stock products show an alert at checkout/cart, but the bundle stays active.
* In **Advanced Combo**: The specific options will be marked unavailable — others remain selectable.

You can:

* Enable **backorders** in Shopify if appropriate
* Or replace unavailable products with in-stock ones from within the bundle editor

***

#### 🧩 **5. My store uses custom themes and layout looks broken.**

Custom themes may apply:

* Conflicting CSS
* Modified template structures

Solutions:

* Use the **Custom Section Class** setting (for BYOB)
* Add **Custom CSS/JS** via BundleSuite editor
* Or contact our team — we often help merchants fine-tune layout within minutes

***

#### 🛍️ **6. Bundle doesn’t apply discount on checkout.**

Discounts may fail if:

* You’re using a **third-party checkout** (not supported)
* You’ve **disabled discount logic** in the bundle settings
* You're combining bundles with **other discount codes**, which can override the pricing logic

Make sure to:

* Use Shopify’s **native checkout**
* Avoid additional coupon codes if bundle discount is already applied

***

#### 🛠️ **7. Volume Discount not working as expected.**

Check the following:

* Each pricing tier is correctly set (e.g., Buy 3+, Get 10% off)
* The **App Embed is enabled.**
* The customer has added the **correct quantity** in cart
* Product has **inventory available** for the tiers

***

#### 🚫 **8. Unable to see bundles on mobile / specific devices.**

* Ensure the App Embed is **mobile-optimized** (BundleSuite includes settings for this).
* Avoid hiding sections via theme CSS accidentally.
* If using a theme with heavy JS frameworks, check for **JavaScript conflicts**.

Let us know the exact issue — we’ll inspect device-specific behavior quickly.

## Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

**Q1. Do bundles have dedicated product pages?**

Yes! Every bundle you create with BundleSuite gets its own **SEO-optimized product page**, making it easier to showcase, share, and sell the full bundle.

**Q2. Can I add bundles to collections and catalogs?**

Yes! Just like regular products, bundles can be added to Shopify collections or your store’s catalog.

**Q3. Can I apply discounts to bundles?**

Yes! BundleSuite offers different discount options based on the bundle type:

* **Standard Combo Bundle**:

  You can apply a **percentage-based discount** or keep it at the regular price (no discount).
* **Advanced Combo Bundle**:

  This bundle is sold at a **fixed price** for the entire set, regardless of individual product prices.
* **BYOB (Build Your Own Bundle)**:

  You can set up **tiered discounts** based on quantity. We support:

  * **Percentage-based discounts**
  * **Fixed price bundles** (e.g., Buy 2 for ₹1799)

  * **Per-item pricing rules**

This gives you the flexibility to run custom offers and boost conversions!

**Q4. Can bundles be displayed as a single item in the cart?**

Yes, all bundles show up as **one item** in the cart for a clean experience.

**Q5. Does BundleSuite provide analytics?**

Yes, you can see:

* How many people viewed your bundles
* How much revenue each bundle brings
* Which bundles perform the best

**Q6. Is BundleSuite compatible with all Shopify themes?**

Yes! It works with most themes. If you face any issues, just contact support.

**Q7. How can I contact customer support?**

* Email: [**bundlesuiteapp@gmail.com**](mailto:bundlesuiteapp@gmail.com)
* Or use the **live chat** in the app

**Q8. Can I create a catalog specifically for bundles?**

Yes! Just create a Shopify collection and add all your bundles to it.

**Q9. How can I edit an existing bundle?**

* Go to your dashboard
* Click on the bundle you want to change
* Hit **Edit**, make your changes, and **Save**

**Q10. Can I use BundleSuite with third-party checkout apps?**

BundleSuite is designed to work with **Shopify’s native checkout** only. **Third-party checkout providers are not supported** due to Shopify limitations — specifically with **Shopify Functions** and **cart transform logic**, which prevent proper bundle processing outside of Shopify's default checkout flow.

**Q11. Is BundleSuite compatible with other sales channels?**

BundleSuite is currently compatible **only with the Online Store** sales channel. It does **not support**:

* **Custom storefronts** (like Hydrogen)
* **Shopify POS**
* **Social sales channels** (like Facebook or Instagram)

Support for these platforms may be considered in future updates.

**Q12. Can I add my bundle to a collection or display it on other pages of my Shopify store?**

Yes! Every bundle you create with BundleSuite is also generated as a standalone product in your Shopify store. This means you can easily add it to any **collection**, feature it on your **homepage**, include it in **navigation menus**, or display it in custom **product sections**, just like any regular product. You can also optimize the bundle for **SEO** to help it rank better on search engines.

**Q13. How can I preview my bundles ?**

You can preview your bundle in two ways:

* Click the **eye icon** on the **Bundles** page in your BundleSuite dashboard.
* Or, go to the **Products** section in your **Shopify admin**, find your bundle product, and click the **Preview** button at the top.

**Q14. How do I make my bundle’s included products appear in a list form in the cart?**

To display the products included in a bundle as a list in the cart, you’ll need to enable the **Cart Components** embed in your store’s embeds. Here’s how:

* Go to **Online Store > Customize**.
* In the left panel, click the **Embeds** icon.
* Enable the **BundleSuite Components Toggle** embed (just above the BundleSuite app embed).
* Click **Save**.

Once enabled, your bundle’s selected products will be listed individually in the cart.

**Q15. Why is the bundle selection not appearing on my packing slip, and how can I fix it?**

In the packing slip template for your theme, add the following code and save it. Once updated, the bundle selection should display correctly. If it still doesn’t work, let us know and we’ll be happy to help!
